Meeting the Merfolk Brooch

Please note each piece may differ from one to another, and the 'Meeting the Merfolk' brooch you have purchased, might differ from the one pictured. The 'Meeting the Merfolk' brooch uses a textured glitter resin on the sails which can range in tone from vibrant green to something a little more muted. All this means is that this stunning ship will be 100% unique, just like you.

Ahoy Matey! We just got word of a Merfolk party, you in? With a combination of glitter and textured resin, brought together with hand-assembled details, it features a swinging anchor on connected chain. So wear your best sea faring fashions, and add a brooch for high seas accessories.

Story

Hoist the sail, anchors away! Across stormy seas to see the merfolk play. It’s going to be a most magical day!

Info

Each piece is made from laser cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand there can be finger print marks and very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand mixed nature of the resins in our our designs it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Brooch clasps, necklace chains and jump rings are made from silver-plated steel. Earrings hooks and posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel.

Due to the hand made nature of Erstwilder designs minor variations may occur from piece to piece. While Erstwilder attempt to photograph their designs as accurately as possible colours may display differently on different screens and may vary slightly in real life from images online.

Care

Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Due to the use of high-quality silver-plating in our brooch clasps, tarnishing and oxidisation can occur, producing black and gold discolouration. As with all silver products, you can simply restore it using a silver cloth. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water and excessive sunlight and you’ll have a trusted friend for years to come.
