A little bloom with a big story, this limited-run New Zealand Hebe brooch is a tribute to resilience and renewal. Created as part of Erstwilder's fourth collaboration and 2025 collection with Jocelyn Proust this native beauty thrives in the wild, reminding us that growth can happen in the most unexpected places. Hand-assembled from striking resins and finished with delicate printed and painted details, this hebe is a small but mighty symbol of nature’s wonder.

DESIGN STORY

Named in English for the Greek goddess of eternal youth, the New Zealand Hebe has two names in Te Reo Māori: Napuka and Titirangi.

Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all Erstwilder designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand, there can be very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.

Brooch clasps are made with a 100% stainless steel pin and plated brass screws. Earrings hooks are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel. Earring posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel or silver-plated brass. Please note, components change over time and may be made with other materials. Care

Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Due to the use of high quality silver-plating in our brooch clasps, tarnishing and oxidisation can occur, producing a black and gold discolouration. As with all silver products, you can simply restore it using a silver cloth. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water, and excessive sunlight and you’ll have a trusted friend for years to come.
